Earth Bowl Drawings.

Conventional wisdom tells us that little to nothing that we think or create is truly original. In this regard, Coco breaks the mold. During the COVID19 pandemic of 2020, isolated alone at home in Lyons, Coco invented Earth Bowl Drawings. An avid gardener, Coco nourished herself with home-grown vegetables and herbs. Upon washing her yield, iron-rich Colorado earth settled on the bottom of Coco’s large stainless steel bowl. This offered a new canvas. Using her finger instead of a brush, Coco conjured up images of countless human, animal, and other worldly characters. Coco’s many “Mud people” characters that stemmed from her Earth Bowl Drawings offered company while she isolated and created during the pandemic.

Love it! Look at all the friends Coco carries around within her. The [Mud people] characters, when shown together, speak the truth.
